This was made with strips of masking tape, torn and stuck down and painted. I enjoy painting on masking tape because of the interesting texture it gives.

Hello chums, I've decided that perhaps it might be a good idea to keep my children's book illustrations separate from my other work to make it easier for art historians to archive my stuff .
I'm a children's book illustrator by day but by night anything goes and I look upon this blog as a small opportunity for me to let go of the children's work for a bit and show some of my other stuff instead.
